Yesterday President Mauricio Macri greeted authorities from the Exporting Bureau in Quinta de Olivos.
The event was honored by the presence of representatives from the Industrial Union Argentina, the Argentina Business Association, the Rural Society, the Rural confederations, the Agrarian Federation, the Argentine Construction Chamber, the Argentina Institute for Business Development, the Argentine Banks Association and the Automotive Manufacturers Association, among other entities.
Our commercial director, Carolina Seleme, attended the gathering. The authorities presented the results of their work, among other points:
- 10 new international agreements concluded and we will have a network of 30% of global GNP.
- We completed the historic agreement MERCOSUR-EU, after 20 years of negotiation; and the MERCOSUR-EFTA agreement, ensuring preferential access for our block to most of the European continent.
- They boost a national policy of quality that escorts the productive sector to facilitate the insertion of Argentine products and services in global markets and to increase companies' competitiveness.
- Argentine Agency of Inversions and International Business assisted and trained more than 3.000 companies with exporting potential from every part of the country.
